A “Brutally Honest”

Don’t let the outside fool you, get in and get a surprise of your life.. Ambiance is top class, food is soo good, I wonder if it’s from heaven. Especially the coconut shrimp, it’s crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and it taste soo fresh, it comes with sweet mango sauce that just compliments the shrimp.. grilled BBq chicken is just soo good, soft and juicy .. calamari and lamb soup was to die for. I mean everything was soo good.. I can’t believe such tasteful Asian food exist.. customer service is top notch .. very friendly and respectful yet professional.. met the owners , very humble couple and very nice people.

The ambiance here was great, and the images on the walls from the projectors were very pretty. The tuna tataki had a nice balance of flavours and textures. The beef noodle soup was also good, and the beef stood out as being incredibly tender, melting in my mouth. The halibut and sea conch clay pot rice was underwhelming though, especially since this spot specializes in clay pot rice. Even after adding all the sauce it came with, it was still bland and the flavour was one-note. The halibut was also pretty dry. It did have lots of really crispy rice at the edges though, which was nice. It was my first time trying fried milk, which is a Cantonese dessert. It was crispy on the outside, and the filling on the inside tasted like melted vanilla ice cream.

We had the pleasure of dining here and everything was outstanding—from the friendliness of the staff and owner, the decor, the artistic projections on the wall, and of course the food! We had a variety of dishes and were blown away by how good they were from the presentation, to the amazing taste! It was obvious that the dishes were created with passion and lot of talent. We had the flaming Dongpo chicken wings and they were the best! The Sake cured Salmon and Tuna was amazing as well. We had the Duck Breast Claypot and the flavours were incredible—the meat tender and flavourful and the rice had nice textures with extra crispiness where it touched the claypot. The experience was so good we came back later in the week. This time we had the smoked beef brisket with Bao and the Prime Rib Chi

This was my first time trying clay pot and we were both blown away! We started with the Brisket Bao (so good!) and then shared the pork Clay Pot dish. The portion was huge and more than enough for two after an appetizer. Great flavour in both dishes. The service was very friendly, with a charming and relaxed ambiance. Would for sure visit again when in Calgary.

A uni prof recommended this place to us as a must try spot and she did not disappoint!We had the smoked beef brisket bao bun, dongpo chicken wings, Dan Dan noodles, and the halibut and conch clay pot rice, in this order. Every plate was beautifully plated and tasted super fresh.- The bao was light and airy and a great appetizer to start the meal.- From the flaming presentation to the thin and crisp texture of the batter and the burst of sweet and savory heat. The Dongbo chicken wings are a must have. Move aside Korean fried chicken, there a new kind of chicken in town.- hand made noodles from their kitchen tossed in a spicy sesame sauce was another flavor punch for the taste buds. We've been here a number of times. This is a hidden gem for Asian cuisine. Has a very good selection of Asian dishes done well. Service is always great and food is great. It has a nice quiet atmosphere conducive to good conversation and relaxing ambiance.

Such a great place for a variety of Asian foods. We had the chili ginger Dongpo wings, which were lit on fire to caramelize. Then the Salt & Pepper shrimp which were excellent. Followed by the Mala Boon which we all loved.

I love this new restaurant! It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it’s very cool inside. The two walls exhibit moving art/immersive experience! From Van Gough, moving sea creatures to beautiful art. The food was amazing too!

We traveling and found this gem - very peaceful and interesting atmosphere, great service, and most importantly, the food was absolutely amazing! We've eaten at many, many Chinese restaurants and places all over the world and this certainly would rank among the top. The salt and pepper fried tofu was really special!

Came here on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch. The restaurant is in a little strip mall with lots of parking. Inside it was well decorated and they had projectors pointing at each wall with scenery changing. My 8 year old enjoyed that.
